FAQs

What makeup brands do you use?

I use a wide range of products from many different brands. Only high quality and high performing products are in my kit to ensure your makeup is flawless on camera. All products are tested for performance prior to making it into my collection. Please contact me with any questions regarding allergies in your party.

Do you do trials?

Yes! I strongly encourage them. Makeup is so personal and must be tailored to each client's specific style and facial features. A trial is the best time for us to get to know each other, and for me to fully grasp your style you are going for. I use this consultation to give you a taste of my artistry style, while getting to know you, your preferences and any ideas you may have. I like to test different products, colors, and styles on you and make adjustments together so that your makeup is exactly what you are looking for!

How do I prepare
for a makeup application?

One week prior to your makeup appointment, make sure that you are consistent with your skincare regimen by cleansing and moisturizing, day and night. Drink plenty of water. Use a gentle exfoliator on your skin twice a week. Clean up your brow shape by either tweezing, waxing or threading.

What if there is a cancellation?

If a contract must be terminated due to a wedding day cancellation, the bridal client is responsible for 50% of the total cost of services (bridal & bridal party included) booked for her date if canceled within 4 weeks prior to the wedding date. 100% payment will be charged to the bridal client if a cancellation occurs within 10 days of the wedding day.

How far

do you travel?

As far as you need me!  Travel fees depend on distance, location, and accommodations.  Please send me a message if you are more than an hour from the studio location!

Does makeup or

hair go first?

I've done it both ways, and it has worked great either way. The only time I  recommend you have makeup done first, is if you are going to have bangs or a piece of hair that is going to be sprayed into place.

When is the final balance due?

The final balance is due the day of service.  I can do payment plans if needed - so please feel free to reach out!

How long does a makeup application take?

Depending on how intricate the look is that you are going for, it can take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour.  Please plan accordingly.  (This is where a trial comes in handy!)
