Founded in June 2019, The Naked Pineapple began operating in August 2019.  While still in school for Esthetics, Bri knew from the beginning she did not want to work at a spa where it was just about meeting a quota and selling services and items that people didn't need.  She knew there was a need for a salon that offered more than that and could be a safe space for people to not feel judged or feel pressured into purchasing retail.  The name, The Naked Pineapple, is more or less a play on words of the Brazilian Wax service - the most popular service performed at TNP.  Bri wanted the name alone to give away the vibe that there would be at each location - chill, informative, fun, and inviting. She began plugging away and researching product lines to get the business ready to make sure she could get the mission just right for TNP.

In August 2019, the first location opened up inside Spiece Fitness, with just one room.  No waiting area or anything, just a little bench outside the door and that's it! Soon, another location opened up inside Glo on the Go / Glo Everyday out southwest Fort Wayne. That too, was just another room.  Rapidly expanding, TNP left Spiece Fitness and found a new home inside Iron Society Strength + Fitness off Dupont Rd, where a spin room was transformed into a full 3 treatment room Esthetic's Salon. After COVID hit, Bri decided to dive in on really marketing the salon and getting the name out there.  In June of 2020, Bri began the next expansion for TNP as a full service salon and decided to build a ~2,000sq foot salon inside Sienna Office Center off Lima Road.  Shortly after moving into the new building, another expansion took place and another ~2,200sq ft were added on.
