How The Naked Pineapple Got Its Groove

The Naked Pineapple was born in June 2019 and started making magic happen just two months later, in August. At the time, Bri was still hustling through Esthetics school, but one thing was crystal clear—she wasn’t about that high-pressure spa life where it’s all numbers and upsells. Nope. She had a bigger vision: a salon that felt like a judgment-free zone, where good vibes and honest care came first, not sales quotas.

And the name? “The Naked Pineapple” is a cheeky nod to the Brazilian Wax—the #1 service that TNP is known for. Bri wanted the name to instantly give off the vibe of what you’d find inside: a space that’s relaxed, fun, educational, and totally welcoming.

She dove headfirst into researching products, perfecting the experience, and building something that truly matched her mission.

The very first TNP spot popped up inside Spiece Fitness in August 2019—just one cozy room and a bench outside. That was it! But the energy? Unmatched. Soon after, TNP expanded to a second tiny room inside Glo on the Go / Glo Everyday in southwest Fort Wayne.

Then came the glow-up. TNP moved out of Spiece and into Iron Society Strength + Fitness on Dupont Rd, where a spin room was totally transformed into a dreamy 3-room esthetics haven.

When COVID hit, Bri didn’t slow down—she doubled down. She amped up marketing and made sure everyone in town knew about The Naked Pineapple. By June 2020, she was ready to go full throttle, turning TNP into a full-service salon and building out a 2,000 sq ft space at the Sienna Office Center on Lima Road. And just like that, more space was needed—another 2,200 sq ft were added soon after.

From one little room and a bench to thousands of square feet of good energy, TNP is all about growth, good vibes, and giving clients a space to feel amazing in their own skin.
